董立宝（ドン・リーバオ）

風景を光と運動の知覚的な表層へと解体する画家。

1962年、中国・北京生まれ。
風景表現と知覚的抽象の間を往還する現代水墨作家。

40年以上にわたる制作を通じて、伝統的な山水画から離れ、「光・水・空気」の相互作用に焦点を当てた表現へと展開している。

近年の《波光（Sparkling）》シリーズでは、水面における光の揺らぎや反射の不確定性を主題とし、固定された風景ではなく、流動する視覚体験を画面上に構築している。

写生に基づきながらも、墨の重なりとにじみを用いて、風景を半抽象的なリズムと光の場へと変換する点に特徴がある。

作品はパリ大皇宮（Art Capital）をはじめ、ヴェネツィア・ビエンナーレ関連展、アジアおよびヨーロッパのアートフェアで発表されている。

With over four decades of practice, Dong Libao’s work departs from traditional literati landscape by focusing on the transient interaction between light, water, and atmosphere.

His recent series Sparkling investigates the visual instability of reflected light on water surfaces. Rather than depicting fixed scenery, Dong constructs fluid compositions through layered ink washes and diffused tonal transitions, evoking movement, luminosity, and temporal perception.

Rooted in plein-air observation, his practice transforms natural experience into semi-abstract fields, where landscape dissolves into rhythm and light.

Dong’s works have been presented internationally, including exhibitions in Paris (Art Capital at the Grand Palais), Venice Biennale collateral events, and international art fairs across Asia and Europe. His works are held in private collections in China, Europe, and the United States.
