李建彰（リ・ジェンジャン）
象徴表現と素材実験によって社会の物語を再構築するクロスメディア・アーティスト。
1967年、北京生まれ。中国当代のクロスメディア・アーティスト。絵画、彫刻、写真、映像、音楽など多様な領域を横断しながら制作を行う。
中央工芸美術学院および北京電影学院で学び、のちに中央美術学院彫刻系にて著名な彫刻家・銭紹武のもとで研鑽を積む。これらの経験を通じて、分野横断的な創作基盤を築いた。
その作品は、イメージと物質、時間と空間の関係性を探求しながら、メディアの境界を越えて展開される。写真や映像においては知覚と記憶の揺らぎを捉え、絵画や彫刻においては物質性と構造を通じて新たな表現を試みている。
2009年以降、中国、アメリカ、日本、韓国などにおいて個展およびグループ展を多数開催。
その実践は、瞬間の捕捉と永続的構築のあいだに位置し、現代芸術の可能性を多角的に切り拓いている。
Li Jianzhang
A cross-media artist who reconstructs social narratives through symbolic imagery and material experimentation.
Born in 1967 in Beijing, China, Li Jianzhang is a contemporary interdisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, photography, film, and music.
He studied at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and the Beijing Film Academy, and later trained in the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts under the renowned sculptor Qian Shaowu. These experiences established the foundation for his cross-disciplinary practice.
His work explores the relationships between image and material, as well as time and space, expanding across different media. In photography and film, he captures the instability of perception and memory, while in painting and sculpture, he reconstructs form and materiality to develop new visual languages.
Since 2009, he has exhibited widely in China, the United States, Japan, and South Korea, participating in both solo and group exhibitions.
Positioned between the capture of fleeting moments and the construction of permanence, his practice reflects an ongoing exploration of the possibilities of contemporary art.
