Influenced by his father, the renowned painter Wang Daguan, he was immersed in an artistic environment from an early age.

After a successful career as a senior executive in a multinational corporation, he turned decisively to art.
Guided by the principle of “approaching the absurd with utmost seriousness,” he pursues a form of expression that is both pure and contemplative.

Working across multiple media, Wang moves fluidly between photography and painting.
In his photographic practice, constructed scenes and enigmatic symbols give rise to surreal imagery.
His paintings, on the other hand, distill his photographic experience, reconstructing personal memory through highly saturated colors and geometric compositions.
Through this process, he seeks to eliminate all impurities and approach what he considers the “absolute truth” of art.

Since 2009, he has exhibited in China, the United States, Japan, and South Korea, participating in both solo and group exhibitions.
His representative works include the conceptual photography series Fading Landscapes and the oil painting series Inception.
