Kuang Yaming
Born in Beijing in 1982, Kuang Yaming is a Chinese contemporary artist.
He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the School of Arts, Renmin University of China, in 2004 and currently lives and works in Beijing as an independent artist. Working primarily with oil and acrylic painting, he combines surreal visual language with symbolic narratives to explore the relationships among the cosmos, civilization, perception, and human existence. Through recurring motifs such as spheres, energy fields, futuristic landscapes, and hybrid life forms, he seeks to reveal the underlying structures hidden beneath material reality.
Since 2014, he has presented a series of solo exhibitions, including Doomsday Splendor, Fission, The Future Has Arrived, and Illusions of Gaze. His works have also been featured in major contemporary art exhibitions and art fairs across China, and are held in private and institutional collections.
