重層的な素材によって内省的な風景を再構成する現代美術作家。
陳亜峰（チェン・ヤーフォン）は、中国の現代美術作家。南京芸術学院工芸系（漆芸）および安徽師範大学美術学院（油画）を卒業。現在、蚌埠学院現代芸術センター主任。韓国・光州のYARC国際アーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加。2011年から2021年にかけて北京の環鉄芸術区および宋庄芸術区を拠点に活動し、現在は北京と安徽にて制作を行う。
作品は「再構成された風景」を主軸とし、ガーゼ素材の重層やイメージの再編によって、絵画とインスタレーションの中間的表現を展開する。《瘦西風》シリーズでは、東洋的な寂寥感を背景に、人間存在の儚さと自然観を静謐な画面として提示する。
作家はテキスト主導の鑑賞を避け、観者に開かれた想像の余白を残すことを重視している。

Chen Yafeng
An artist who reconstructs contemplative landscapes through layered materials and restrained visual language.
Chen Yafeng is a Chinese contemporary artist whose practice spans painting and mixed-media installation. He graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts (lacquer art) and Anhui Normal University (oil painting). He currently serves as Director of the Contemporary Art Center at Bengbu University and has participated in the YARC International Residency Program in Gwangju, South Korea. From 2011 to 2021, he worked in Beijing’s Huantie Art District and Songzhuang Art Zone, and now lives and works between Beijing and Anhui.
Chen’s practice centers on the concept of “Reconstructed Landscape.” By layering gauze and fragmented imagery, he constructs hybrid visual fields that blur the boundary between painting and installation. His “Thin West Wind” series draws on the melancholic sensibility of classical Chinese aesthetics, translating emotional depletion and existential fragility into restrained and meditative compositions.
Rather than guiding interpretation through narrative, Chen advocates an open viewing experience. His works aim to create a quiet psychological space where viewers can encounter a distilled, contemplative vision—an inner landscape suspended between memory, perception, and emptiness.
