Chen Sibi, Born in Shantou, Guangdong, China in 1968, Chen Sibi graduated from the Cheung Kong School of Art of Shantou University and currently lives and works in Jingdezhen.
 
Chen is a professional artist and founder of Bensefang Art Space.
 
Originally trained in Chinese ink painting, he has devoted many years to exploring the expressive possibilities of ceramic media. His practice integrates traditional Chinese painting aesthetics with colored glazes, kiln-transformed surfaces, mixed media, installation art, and contemporary ceramic painting.
 
His works have been featured in professional publications including Ceramic Science and Art, and are held in museum and private collections. He is the author of Nomination Series of Chinese Painting Masters in the 21st Century: Chen Sibi and several monographs.
 
Through ceramic materials and the transformative process of fire, Chen explores themes of humanity, nature, desire, and spiritual existence, creating poetic visual spaces rooted in Eastern cultural traditions.

Chen Sibi is a Jingdezhen-based ceramic painting artist whose work combines colored glazes, kiln-transformed surfaces, and the spirit of Chinese ink painting. Through ceramic media, he explores themes of reality, desire, and spiritual existence in a contemporary visual language.
