Philosophy of Artishion

Artishion was founded on the belief that art can serve as a bridge between people, cultures, and societies.

Based in Kyoto, we support artists and curators from China, Japan, and across Asia in realizing exhibitions, creative projects, and cultural exchanges beyond linguistic, cultural, and institutional boundaries.

Through exhibition planning, artist residencies, and cross-cultural initiatives, we aim to create spaces where individuals from diverse backgrounds can meet, engage in dialogue, and deepen mutual understanding.

Artishion believes that meaningful cultural relationships are formed through these small but continuous encounters and practices.
