楊文萍（ヤン・ウェンピン）

彩色水墨による細胞状の視覚構造を通じて、自然イメージと抽象の間を往還するアーティスト

楊文萍は、1968年中国・雲南省生まれ、1991年に雲南芸術学院油画学科を卒業。2007年より北京にて制作拠点を構え、現在まで継続的に活動している。

絵画、写真、インスタレーションなど複数のメディアを横断してきたが、近年は彩色水墨による平面作品に重点を置いている。密度の高い細胞状のテクスチャーを基盤とし、植物や自然のモチーフを残しながらも、それらを徐々に抽象的構造へと変換する独自の視覚言語を展開している。この変化は、具象的表現から内面的かつプロセス志向の表現への移行として捉えられる。

作品は今日美術館、蘇州美術館などの機関および国内外のコレクターに収蔵されている。

楊文萍は北京を拠点に活動する中国現代アーティストであり、近年は彩色水墨による作品を中心に、密度の高いテクスチャーと自然モチーフを通じて抽象的表現を探求している。

Yang Wenping

An artist who constructs cell-like visual structures in color ink, navigating between natural imagery and abstraction.

Yang Wenping (b. 1968, Yunnan, China) graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Yunnan Arts University in 1991. She established her studio in Beijing in 2007 and has since maintained an independent artistic practice.

Working across painting, photography, and installation, her recent practice focuses on color ink on paper. Her works develop a distinctive visual language built upon dense, cell-like textures, through which natural motifs are partially retained yet increasingly dissolved into abstract structures. This approach reflects a transition from earlier figurative expressions toward a more introspective and process-oriented mode of image construction.

Her works are held in the collections of Today Art Museum, Suzhou Art Museum, and other institutional and private collections.

Yang Wenping is a contemporary Chinese artist based in Beijing. Her recent works focus on color ink on paper, developing abstract visual structures through dense textures and natural motifs.
